The pointless 'alienated' Inner city voter

Bigotted/Waycist Jeff moans ...

As May 7tharrived, I pondered as to why I should even make the effort to vote . Eventually, I mustered enough energy to finally go to the local polling station with about 35 minutes to spare. Wandering, slowly, past the dodgy halal kebab junk food shop [many such places are responsible for cronic obesity & other sunsavory goings on], down the street I encountered a group of arabs, dressed up in their middle eastern garb (headcoverings / baggy male-skirts, etc, complete with flip flops) jabbering away in some distant foreign language – it looked like it was a chap and his four wives & siblings, rounding the street corner.

Approaching from the other direction, was another asian couple, presumably having just left the polling station. Upon rounding the next corner, the street, suddenly, became jammed up with traffic everywhere, consisting of several taxis' and a few other asian/afro types loitering about outside the polling station. Hurrying in, I joined the back of the long queue to find masses more of Labour's finest imports – they never seem to understand the concept of going as individuals to the booths and marking the papers alone (without others influencing decisions).
The station staff looked like they were forever having to 'go out of their way' to monitor, instruct and explain the proper procedures to no avail.

Oh the joys of this social engineering tribal project - enrichment and diversity – it was good for 'community' cohesion, except the community that I was once familiar with is practically non-existant now.
I felt completely out of place – the only person who resembled an indigenous citizen was most probably a labour civil servant – a woman sitting at the registration desk (amid a room of around 20-odd, that's under 5% ).

This Labour 'safe seat' was a forgone conclusion before a single vote was even cast.

After registering with a West Indian woman, an African-origin woman gave instructions on how to write an 'X 'marking in a box, I went to a booth, used my own pen (harder than the supplied pencil to be later erased/altered); marked it against the UKIP party; stuffed the slips in the bulging plastic tubs and promptly left.

Just as countless times before, at least I made the effort, to cast another meaningless vote.

In the end, I think UKIP came in 3rd a mere 17 thousand+ behind labour.

(Overall, 2-3 million votes and 1 seat in the out-of-touch 'M25 Westminster bubble' - wow justice in the making.)

Disillusioned Jeff.
